      Pros

They have a good app for booking bank for overtime work and you can go across all sites with Bart's

      Cons

Pay is low. Base pay is 29k with nights and weekends get around 32k. I've been a nurse for almost 2 years now. Trust isn't funded well don't have paid courses with the trust you could do like with others

Good environment but very little room to grow

      Pros

Good environment, most colleagues are friendly approachable and professional. Customer/patient care is important to us here.

      Cons

However very very little career progression within departments. Managers seem to just want to keep you in your positions if your doing well in it rather than looking out for you and rewarding you with actually growth opportunities. It’s sad because it’s always talked about across the Trust communications (growth/progression etc) but that’s not the case. It only applies rewllt to the senior managers. They pick and choose which seniors can be further promoted or a new role magically appears for them when apparently there is “no money in our budget” but for us all in the lower grades it’s really tough to go up unless you yourself decide to apply for another position in another department or another organisation. If you want to keep staff please create growth Opportunities!
