Pros
- Great working culture - Good personal Growth opportunities (internal promotions, moving between roles, etc.) - Good work / life balance - Huge number of really good soft services for staff - lunches, health ins, therapy, yoga etc.

Doesn't RecommendDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Bazaarvoice full-time for more than a year
Pros
Great work/life balance, friendly people, no micro-managing
Cons
No clear policy for internal progression, it seems easier to resign and apply to an other position than to go through the internal process. To progress it seems thqt visibility is more important than quality.

RecommendsPositive OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Bazaarvoice full-time for more than a year
Pros
I work with some of the best software professionals in Belfast on software that operates at real global internet scale. Teams are autonomous and own products from inception to delivery, and those products are core to the company's business - we're not limited to fixing bugs in legacy code or acting as satellite teams for the primary development hub in Austin. Innovation is encouraged. Management are supportive of a good work-life balance, whether that means flexible hours, working from home or highlighting the importance of good mental and physical health. Although BV has been around for almost 15 years, Belfast still has something of a startup vibe, and everyone has a voice in office decisions. Almost too much free food and drink, and I believe remuneration is well above average for Belfast. Note: Ratings are for Belfast only
Cons
There has been upheaval in Austin as the company was acquired by a equity firm in 2018, leading to some technical leaders departing the company. High level of autonomy has led to duplication of effort and varied approaches to deployment/technology adoption, which is not efficient.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Bazaarvoice
Pros
- Flexible working hours and location - Great people
Cons
- Work-life-balance - No vision from leadership - Company has been in better shape than today They cut down the working hours from 40 to 37.5 hours/week but that change wasn't applied to the work load so it's just on paper. In reality, people work 60 hours per week + weekends. While the salary might look good on paper, it doesn't in reality when you think about all the unpaid over-hours.

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Bazaarvoice full-time for more than a year
Pros
The people and the culture are great, the atmosphere is very dynamic and multicultural; the product is fantastic and keeps getting better and better; HR is trying to implement more regular trainings; you are usually trusted to manage your own time (working from home/remotely is possible) and projects. I find that you have to fight a little for a better work/life balance but overall it's pretty good.
Cons
Change is fine when it's managed, but change for the sake of changing is dangerous. I think the new leadership team gets that but we need stability. There is no real people management: it's very political, very much about who you're sucking up to. Performance is not rewarded on results but on how much noise you're making. If you're not an extrovert person, if you do not brag about what you do, you won't get recognised for your work. Which is why so many have left/are still leaving...
