Pros

It is in a growing sector where clients need a compliance solution and technology can really offer a very efficient and sophisticated solution

Cons

- toxic environment, lack of empathy and understanding - long hours that leave no room for a life with a negative health impact. Painfully, those long hours are a byproduct of their own internal mess and their misguided processes and assignation of workload. - linked to the above: they treat you like a slave admin, people are not cooperative and, sometimes, rude about it - talentless management team who are there because they were part of the company since the outset and not because they merit it - boys' club mentality - they lie about money/compensation and what your job description will be I have seen positive reviews which seem to have been written by those who I am actually criticising here.

Pros

It's a shame that I feel compelled to write this review. I was at the company for 8 or so months and was let go after failing to generate any sales. In reality very few people did. 80% of the sales team have left. The product, while not bad, is too premature for the market, and cheaper, viable alternatives exist. Until organisations are FORCED via regulation to buy a product like Behavox, they probably won't. I wish the company and all the people there success but I also feel duty bound to write a review for anyone looking to move roles for one reason. I was offered a role based on the promise of opportunity. It didn't exist. It left a stain on my CV and made reemployment difficult. Rather than hiring and firing sales individuals, they should work on the product / price / market fit and retain talent and experience, rather than letting people go and hiring new individuals into a stressful, mostly toxic environment. The vast majority of the sales team has left or more likely, were let go. The head of HR, sales, marketing, co CRO, regional head of sales, senior internal recruiters and more have left. That tells you all you need to know. Upon my search for employment after Behavox, I spoke with a number of recruiters who were equally disparaging of the company. This is a rather damning review. Of course it is, I was let go. It's also warranted based how the organisation is run. Hunger to succeed Company wide townhalls Open to embracing new technology (within sales)

Cons

Cliquiness within management, it's mentioned a lot here. It's a real problem. Churn of staff, mostly at senior levels. Pressure to sell a product that few want or need. A big big shame given the drive and determination of those in the company. Lack of vision / direction Glass ceiling & limited exposure to senior management

Top down, no interest in collaboration

Pros

Some good smart people. Decent office space.

Cons

CEO believes in his own opinion to the exclusion of all else, acting as CTO as well as CEO, regardless of any experience or qualifications. There is no expectation or interest in collaboration and input from employees, management simply directs and you are expected to do. Second level management wildly over committed, with multiple overlapping meetings all day long. You may wait days to get a few minutes with your manager, for them to then just reset the expectations of what you’ve been working on. Company is not honest with customers, making promises that they do not expect to meet, and in some cases making promises that they do not intend to honour. Avoid.
