Pros

Low expectations IT management is chill for the most part Easy workflow If you are a good people person and willing to deal with all the politics and awful IT infrastructure you can really have a career here. Tons to improve here, unlimited potential for the IT department

Cons

-the Covid handling was also despicable. I remember a VP and a director saying back in March 2020 that people are overreacting and COVID is nothing to be worried about -honestly pretty arrogant as well -unprofessional -unorganized

Pros

If it wasn't for the few wonderful people in production ops and R&D who care about making efficacious products and following FDA regulations, I would have left earlier.

Cons

The employees and morale from the majority of the R&D team are positive and upbeat. Unfortunately, that morale is lowered with forced team bonding demanded by the manager to try to achieve a fake and utterly staged family environment. The employees need to pay their own money to participate in these costly forced team bonding exercises and if they don't participate then they are ostracized from the team. This makes promotion or salary raises nearly impossible. Production is unhinged and free to do whatever they want without punishment making it hard to fix on-the-floor issues and have permanent solutions in place. Management makes a lot of fake promises for raises and promotions where there is none. Employees are asked to take on extra job titles without the pay raise or promotion.

Pros

The position I have is not that stressful so that is the pro

Cons

Co workers are my cons for this company. They act as if they are in the sales department lol they are also nice in front of you and they acknowledge your work verbally but they tell a different story to the supervisor. They are insecure of new people who have potential to be promoted sooner than their “seniority years”, so that’s why they say bad things about the new people who have potential. If they are any better they wouldn’t be here anyway. So it’s really childish I have never seen amateurs acting like this. Oh they also complain about other people being on their phones and whatever they’re doing, but will take long 15-minute breaks paid by the company, long lunch hours but will clock in at 30 minutes, be on their phones a lot, and talk crap about their supervisor who by the way the supervisor believes them so much. Lol it’s ridiculous but again I’m just doing my job. I’m just here for a non-stressful work environment.
