I have been working at Birmingham City University part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great team , friendly, approachable and always willing to help out. Great pay for students.

    Cons

Can be intensive and multiple tasks required to be carried out. As I take students to view properties around Birmingham this can be a physical demanding role requiring lots of walking in and out of buildings in all weather conditions.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and continue recruiting students .

I have been working at Birmingham City University full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great team and great atmosphere! Vey supportive and engaging between all staff regardless of hierarchy and position.

    Cons

Wider network of employees sometimes can be difficult to integrate with. Senior Executive (Academics) very hard to work with and reluctant to take on useful ideas

    Advice to Management

Should consider the voice of the average employee more so given they represent the majority of your staff and are "frontline response" to the "customer" (student)

    Pros

Great team ethic , focus on creating a fun atmosphere, depends on your character but if you are starting out then you will gain something,

    Cons

No progression, lack of feedback, Pigeon hole employees to certain tasks, can do some real dull tasks, lack of staff development

    Advice to Management

There has to be an angle where staff are given a chance to prove themselves
