Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Birmingham Women's NHS Foundation Trust part-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Staff stick together and provide the best care and service they can friendly and helpful but over years getting worse as staff numbers dropping as down grading does not keep staff they show this with their feet and not all staff replaced so more and more put on the ones there and that's when mistakes happen and lives put at risk
Cons
Used too love working here but when the manager left and the deputy took over became hell on earth out and out bully did start a grievance against her but nothing came off it. Expect more and more for very little return do more of the Doctors work for very little even respect or thanks. It was a caring profession when I started and I was proud to be part of it but its all about money and targets now so glad I had to leave on ill health after 37 years of service did not even get a card or a leaving do that's what they think of their staff this should happen to everyone not left to their individual managers as with me if you dont get on you get nothing. Three months after I left received a cheap bunch of flowers as someone asked why there had been no collection so was forced into sending but just signed unit worked on no names or personal messages very sad as loved the NHS for one person to ruin my life experience and memories as now feel worthless.

RecommendsNeutral OutlookI have been working at Birmingham Women's NHS Foundation Trust full-time for more than a year
Pros
Good atmosphere within regional genetics. Friendly environment and approachable staff and managers. Communication within departments is good and provide a valuable service with developing technologies for patients. Opportunity to be involved in new upcoming projects and research.
Cons
Lack of development and structure to training. Would be good to include entry level positions for graduates other than scientist training programme as there is not entry level between GCSE level and STP. Little progression opportunities and development only seems to be available after someone has left and there is a position to be filled. No new roles being created or changed.
