    Pros

    Fast-paced, collaborative, and supportive all-remote work environment. Great coworkers. Buy-in and engagement from leadership is very appreciated.

    Cons

    Growing fast (in a productive way), which leads to some communication snafus. Happy to say that they are being worked on.

    This company helped me find my passion and follow it. The manager was very kind and helpful especially when I would visit before working there.

    Pros

    The company is filling a need within education/tutoring that is sorely needed.

    Cons

    “DEI” is a front. Pay inequity is rampant, turnover is high and overall morale is terrible. Nobody seems to care about why things are the way they are and the culture is horrible. Startup with funding that is ran like a not for profit that is Leo on funds.

    Everyone at BookNook shares the mission of achieving equity through rigorous and engaging instruction. It's exciting to be a part of team that's so dedicated and driven!

    Cons

    The company is growing so fast! People not only feel stretched thin, but challenged to pivot and figure things out in new ways for the first time. For that reason, working at BookNook requires creativity, flexibility and resilience.
