Pros
Employee discount is quite good. 20% on boots own brand and 10% on everything else. Means meal-deals are less than £3! Busy work environment so the shifts go quickly. Online training for work. Easy online payroll management
Cons
The boots I worked in were too busy to take time to train me as a pharmacy advisor, which is why I eventually left. I think this is not typical and was due to various reshuffling of management and a very understaffed store.

Discount card. Nothing else at all
Cons
Worked like slaves for horrific pay. Constant pressure of targets, made to feel inadequate every day, no reward schemes for when you do hit targets! Under staffed and expected to go above and beyond for the company I.e. by staying late after your scheduled shift is over, extra responsibilities such as being a key holder or call out responder for NO extra pay. Extra duties are rarely paid back as they are expected as a gesture of good will to the company. The amount of people off sick is beyond imaginable from pressure from Boots. Please avoid if you have a family or value work/life balance.
