I worked at Boots full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Boots discount allows you to get some good deals.

    Cons

You are treated appallingly as an employee. You’re not listened to and only do what’s best for themselves. They have no respect for you or the customers and it’s all about hitting targets at any cost, even if it means doing things that aren’t strictly legit. There’s no escalation route if you feel you need to speak to someone and higher management are just as unhelpful and corrupt as the store management. So many stories to tell that could put this company in the headlines!

I have been working at Boots part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pays a good rate, reasonable working hours.

    Cons

Completely disorganised management, no communication between different senior members of staff causing a lot of disruption, misunderstandings and other general problems. No clock in/out system thus often left underpaid for overtime done, and managers must be consistently nagged to settle pay disputes. Poor training
