    I worked at Booz & Company full-time

    Pros

You get to work with smart and slightly arrogant people, assignments can be global. some of the partners are fantastic, good system of appraisals

    Cons

The arrogance of the consultants (generally white, thin, Oxbridge, with a sense of entitlement so large it dwarfs the Shard), long working hours, excessive travelling and time away from home if in the middle east, the complete lack of understanding from some SAs/Principals that you might actually have a life outside of the office

    Advice to Management

    Treat people more fairly

I worked at Booz & Company full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Quality of work done with clients Training PwC deal is a great move for Booz and very smart

      Cons

Size (# consultants) impacts ability to provide depth of expertise that clients want and need. Still too much belief that can throw smart people at a problem and it will work out.

        Approves of CEO

I have been working at Booz & Company full-time

        Pros

Really smart people, some interesting projects, great junior staff.

        Cons

Economic situation of firm uncertain. Terrible high level politics. Senior management are terrible at people management. Partnership at each other's throats a lot of the time. Have no real choice of projects, meaning that you could get sent somewhere random, with no real coherence in your previous experience, meaning it may be difficult to sell to future employers.

        Advice to Management

I really don't know. Marketplace is brutal. Sort out the partner politics.
