Staff and children lovely but policies backwards

      Pros

Staff lovely children are lovely over all pleasant place to work.

      Cons

Sickness policies terrible- got in trouble for sickness after being sick for only 3 days one of these I was sent home as I was vommiting at work. Other people had weeks off constantly and never got in trouble. Even with a doctor's note I got in trouble. The hours are long which is fine but you never get time to do your learning journeys I was always doing mine on my lunch or in the room which took away time with children I highly suggest appropriate cover to allow the staff the time they need to track and plan for children's learning. Pay terrible 17'000 a year even if you have a degree for long hours and hard work.

      Pros

Non at all. Just the kids were lovely to see everyday and was rewarding seeing them enjoy the meals.

      Cons

No assistance, very small Kitchen, appliance barely worked, took over 4 months to fix the dishwasher, took longer to get dishes done. Management have their favourites as previous chef washed uniform on site but as soon as I took over(was previous nursery assistant) I was not allowed to. POC treated unfairly in my opinion.
