I have been working at British Transport Police full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Pay - Family life - rarely late off - rest day working - supportive local supervision - not based in London :)

    Cons

    - Boring at times - IT never works - excessive when it comes to safeguarding - Unless you work in a main hub or London there isn’t much career progression or specialisation. Just response and CID. - bad upper management
