      Pros

      Some of the best people I have ever worked with; fantastic place to gain experience of working in a software environment

      Cons

      Poor people management; lack of career prospects/direction; a business run by accountants that always looks at the numbers and not employees; Now it is part of a big US business the character that made it such a great place to work is slowly ebbing away.

      Friendly co-workers, decent commission structure.

      Cons

      Below-market salaries. Performance reviews were a box-ticking exercise. Very poor employee benefits scheme. Product extremely tired, and clients did notice. Old products planned for relaunch only to be shelved. For a software company, that's just not good enough. Overly-fond of process, often to the detriment of client's. Key roles in tech not back-filled, CS increasingly outsourced to India.

      . people are really friendly, knowledgeable and have a 'work hard play hard' attitude . monthly drinks on the company . pool table, free fruit/coffee and tea etc . Occasional team socials

      Cons

      . very little room for progression, management are quite comfortable where they are which limits those below them . for a technology company, not much innovation . no understanding of modern work/ life balance. eg no flexi time, remote working options unless you have children . lots of micro managing
