I worked at CACI International full-time

    Pros

None because the cons outweigh anything positive. Overall, CACI is worse than USIS and KeyPoint combined!!!!!

    Cons

-Performance managed regardless of workload availability -Threatened with a corrective action plan/termination if metrics are not met - regardless of availability of work -Zero support from upper management -Numbers driven company, you’re a slave and can be easily replaced by the next slave -Zero focus on the well-being of its employees -Intentionally create a sense of panic by threatening termination in hopes of a large number of employees quitting -Inefficient zoning, there is no such thing as “out of your area” unless it is out of state -Computer programs are constantly going offline or not working correctly, BUT you’re still expected to meet your metrics -Miserable employee culture, everyone is out for themselves when the work is scarce -Unrealistic expectations

    "Great people working hard"

    StarStarStarStarStar
    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at CACI International full-time

    Pros

Great people working hard behind the scenes to ensure the business side is running as smoothly as possible. They took care of the folks on the ground and very supportive.

    Cons

Was part of the restructuring with purchase of company, and the transition (like most) was difficult. But, CACI did do quite a bit to ensure personnel were taken care of on the ground even while most of the previous company's upper management was laid off immediately.

I worked at CACI International full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

None at all to speak of.

    Cons

Absolutely the worst place I've ever worked. Terrible culture. Horrible and incompetent upper management. Even great employees are not valued at all and treated like crap. No one should have to work at this hell hole.

I have been working at CACI International full-time for more than a year

    Pros

CACI is ok. It’s a typical government contracting company. A lot of jobs as long as the contracts are there.

    Cons

They appoint people to PM positions that are not qualified. Big time buddy system. I guess you could say this about every contracting company. There are a lot of inflated salaries in upper management.

    Pros

    Great customers, great overall mission.

    Cons

Upper management unskilled, does not know/understand customer or mission, only interested in bottom-line...to the initial detriment of the staff and ultimate detriment of the customer.

I have been working at CACI International full-time

    Pros

As a large company with DoD contracts, you have a much higher job security than in smaller contracting companies. They have online training and many other education and career progression opportunities.

    Cons

People at the lower tiers of the company don't see the upper management people, and don't understand their outlooks and plans for the future. Company-wide emails that try to do this come across as "advertising."

    Pros

If you have a decent education and an excellent character combined with a spotless background, then you will do well you'll be encouraged to further your education and to seek higher clearance levels. It's all about the character character counts integrity integrity intellectual honesty personal and professional Pride good values and morals then the world is your oyster at CACI

    Cons

Upper management is protected by a glass floor keeping out middle Managers from being promoted on there deeds and efforts thus keeping the Old Guard in control. This Old Guard is composed of Ivy League graduates that were members of fraternal organizations and the brothas and Sistas not necessarily a bad thing when you're a grunt in the trenches, however it is a bad thing for your Lieutenant who can't get any higher and is constantly being criticized by people that don't know how to spend money wisely. Money gets spent on systems that are not necessary or are not used to their potential and then later abandoned for another pretty shiny highly functional under-utilized gilded turd that no one is accountable for thus goes beneath the radar and is spread across the board in most areas and divisions 4 no reason other than to line the pockets of those in control and their vendor cronies. The federal division is plagued by bureaucrats former bureaucrats with no actual sense of reality and whose Playbook is that of a vendor's sponsored magazine or trade Journal pseudo article advertisement. Worsening the issue is those few form bureaucrats that Excel based upon Merit have very short time to do so in reality it takes longer to establish that profit flow and return on investment therefore they're typically pushed out the door only to realize it's a few realize it wow we should hang on to those guys instead these fools over here who have a nice little boys club or Girls Club their fun and cool and nice but they don't produce either so they just take turns having a window office and finding another company work at. Promotion by popularity is common promotion by Merit is born of necessity only. The CACI ZERO TOLERANCE, ALL ENCOMPASSING HARASSMENT POLICY is publicly posted, perpetually promoted does fair balanced objective, always available and able to instantly intervene band protect the identity does the parties involved while affording a no fear, no cost operational environment then simultaneous incident resolution without bias or retribution. In reality this is all fantasy and propaganda. Truth be known this is in all practically a black hole sucking away the "agitator", any and all unsightly evidence of guilt or innocence, fraud, corruption, favoritism, racism, etc., as well as the Target's unreproachable personal reputation, professional career and in some instances private life.

I worked at CACI International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

CACI gives competitive salaries and good benefits. They really work hard to place you on another project if your contract ends.

    Cons

They recently changed their performance review process and it's pretty ineffective. You fill out your goals for the year, then at the end of the year you rate yourself on how well you achieved those goals. Then your manager rates you, and then it goes up to upper management for "calibration." No one can really explain what calibration does, but it seems like they rank you based on the performance of other people on the project and within the company. So basically if your manager doesn't go to bat for you or isn't an effective communicator, then you're SOL. I did the same level of work two years in a row, and one year I was rated a 5 and the other year I was rated a 3. (scale from 1-5) Basically they explained that the year I got a 5 it was because it was my time to get a promotion, and the next year it was someone else's so they had to make the numbers work. How does this make sense? This process is supposed to review MY performance so I can improve. The whole process, which takes like 2 months, seems like a waste of time now.

    I worked at CACI International

    Pros

CACI has many interesting projects as well as smart hardworking people on the ground providing direct support to government clients. Compensation is fair as long as you start out with a good salary.

    Cons

When I was there the change in senior management was followed by huge turnover at the HQ level. This provided a culture of fear and frustration. It was hard to get any real support from upper management since no one knew who was going to get fired next. The fear of dropping stock prices and a unit missing one quarter's numbers was breath taking. No long view.
