I have been working at CNH Industrial full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The pension scheme is generous compared to other companies. If you can work in an autonomous fashion and are prepared to work hard then you will learn a lot.

    Cons

The same autonomous environment can be negative without the correct mentoring.

    Advice to Management

Mentoring is important. Farmers grow crops and animals, CNHi needs to cultivate people from an early age and reward them.

I have been working at CNH Industrial full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are alot of projects to lead and take over. Real experiance Decent launch pad Free time Tractor manufacturing is pretty awesome Some friendly people within the work force Office staff receive some perks such as parties, expenses e.c.t.

    Cons

The company uses interns as they recieve government funding to do so. Interns essentially are in roles that should be paid double and they are heavily exploited. Sexual harassment is strife. It's within the culture. There are pictures of porn on the shop floor like a sleezy garage not a international professional company. Not to mention misogyny with woman in the work force trying to progress. Woman are often... moved from their teams of roles if they show effort to progress. With large companies comes terrible organisation and management. Nothing happens on time. Simple tasks take months to do. Aging staff force, average age of 50s is resentful and unmotivated. Most people here to collect paycheck and pension plans.

    Advice to Management

    1) Sexual harassment at work is a serious misconduct. It must be dealt with by codes of practice and the law not accepted as culture. 2) Interns should either be interns with intern level of responsibility or paid appropriate wages and given the right title for the level of work and management they are expected to do. 3) Organise a graduate scheme, a path of progression. The company is short sighted and does... not understand how to train, invest and promote from within. Constantly outsourcing new higher up management from other automotive companies such as ford. 4) Office workers receive perks and office parties and events. Shop floor workers are laid off with 60 percent pay with a days notice for weeks. They receive little to no perks. Treated like second class citizens. They have different lunch times to office workers and not allowed to attend any events or parties funded by the company.

I have been working at CNH Industrial for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great Benefits Package for Insurance and Retirement with Medical

    Cons

Management does not work with in there own guide lines to fill for job positions. Nor does most of the Supervisors or HR select those of whom are most qualified for positions. Some of which do not work fair on the floor with different employees. I have been there ten years and have had more Supervisors than I have been there.

    Advice to Management

The HR Department along with upper Management in my opinion need to assess the Supervisors Qualifications for the Company.

I worked at CNH Industrial full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

CNHI is a global organization. It has vast variety of opportunities and is keen to maintain its staff. The company is very dyanmic.

    Cons

The company lacks to have certain sensitivites in locations other than European countries and North America (where inflation is not so significant). CNHI does not do annual inflation adjustment to salaries where inflation causes a s big reduction in the purchasing power of the salaries. This causes a big frustration at employees as well. The training and career development is not a strength of CNHI, either.

    Advice to Management

The maangement needs to develop and train the staff globally. The HR function needs to develop sensitivity to employees needs. The salary policy needs to be revisited. The "benchmarking" approach simply does not work, because there is no real adjustment to salary drops in real value in countries where the inflation is high.
