    I worked at CSC full-time

    Pros

Collaborative working environment - people work well together for most part and share information Friendly staff Reasonable benefits package - flexible benefits package that allows you to adjust to your individual needs Strong technical skills sets - deep architecture and solutioning expertise

    Cons

Autocratic leadership - very limited ability to make decisions locally even at a senior level Not enough focus on clients - too much time taken up with cost cutting and headcount reductions programmes Solutions are heavily technology focused not enough business change input

    I worked at CSC full-time

    Pros

Formerly, CSC had a corporate culture that valued building strong, mutually respectful relationships with colleagues across the organisation as well as with the client to deliver robust business solutions. This resulted in a rewarding working environment.

    Cons

The whole organisation is being run down in order strip out every possible cost and bolster the share price in advance of the must-touted merger with HP. Consequently the organisation hads lost huge numbers of staff and those that remain are severely demoralized, wondering when it will be their turn to go. There appears to be no long-term vision for the organisation.

    I worked at CSC

    Pros

The company has some very talented and enthusiastic people. they have a flexible working environment although do see comments on this in Cons.

    Cons

Everything is run against share price. The staff or "resources" are treated as just that by the company, demanding loyalty to the company though showing none. Outward facing Communications are very slick however they are disastrous and constantly demoralising on the staff side.

I have been working at CSC

    Pros

Strong Strategy for the UK Good working environment Team culture

    Cons

Having come out of a change over the last few years, many change adverse people are spreading negativity, which is largely unfounded.
