    Pros

Decent work life balance as long as you are not on call. Good people to work with. City centre location

    Cons

For a number of years salary increments have been non existent and have lived with the almost constant threat of redundancy leading to poor morale.

I worked at CSC full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Some good people to work with, although most have left. Good work / life balance. Career opportunities via "dead man's shoes!"

    Cons

An SI dinosaur with poor delivery capability across all offerings. Massive staff layoffs prior to merger with HP. Sales teams asked to do the impossible... sell stuff which doesn't really exist outside of Powerpoint. Upwards shifting sales targets... don't expect to get paid what your pay plan suggests.

I worked at CSC full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good work/life balance - worked from home 95% of the time Good colleagues Decent pay at start Good employee discounts Good for experience build up or those who are early in their careers

    Cons

No career progression. Yearly performance reviews adds no value. Despite exceeding expectations, don't expect a payrise. Constant redundancy threat. Cannot regularly visit customer site as claiming expenses can get expensive which the management wants to avoid Constant barriers to work as good technical/non-technical resources are being made redundant with no one to fill their place Lack of processes Communication from management very poor. Lack of updates on Redundancy process. No effort made by management to make team members feel as being part of a team. Limited to no team building events or leaving do's when people leave. You have to be 100% billable and bill all your time to client even when you have downtime

    I worked at CSC

    Pros

Good salary. Excellent work life balance.

    Cons

Reorganisation every year. The CEO has adopted a cost cutting method to show company at better position. No progression. Management are too secretive. Cut backs on benefits.

I have been working at CSC full-time

    Pros

Good work life balance because no one...no one knows what's going on. Like having mandatory holiday? They tell you when to take it! Want to be able to manage your finances? Your salary will not change for 10 years! Really love meetings about meetings? Join us!

    Cons

They seem to go out of their way to make sure people feel confused, demoralised and hated. They're making 1k people in the UK redundant to meet financial targets of a multi-million pound bonus for CEO Mike Lawrie in the run up to the HPE merger. It's the most disfunctional company I've ever seen in action. They mismanage finances to the point everyone now has to take a mandatory holiday at the end of March. Stay away until the board is completely replaced by competent people.
