Some shifts happened within 12 hours of each other which was exhausting, but I had signed a form to agree to do this. One evening I finished an event at about 2am and was due in again at 7am.

Stepping stone to better opportunities. Benefits are great Tuition fee waiver No need to take work home Opportunities to learn new skills, learn what you can and run

Cons

Pay is very low Stingy management, union has to fight for paltry increases Overemphasis on union but the union is not very strong Management is unstable, lots of interim and many unfilled positions Too many students and not enough staff Traffic and parking is a nightmare Longterm employment here can be career suicide
