I worked at Call IT Automotive part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Can honestly say I can't think of any

    Cons

I cannot stress this enough to avoid this company at all costs. There are plenty of viable, honest and professional home working options out there but this is not one of them. The training if you can call it that is shocking. The Team Leader (I use this term loosely) who was responsible for "training" found it acceptable to discuss the abilities of existing members of staff as well as swear and smoke while delivering the training. I had doubts during the recruitment process but did not want to judge them on this alone. I do however wish I had gone with the first instincts. They could not decide on a start date and I had to chase them up for this. I was not given any specific times for training but was told on a day by day basis when to log in and was not guaranteed hours for this as it varied each day. It got to a point where I had agreed to be ready for training and was then told they could not accommodate as they were too busy. I gave my bank details twice for payroll and was told varying dates for cut off and payment. I queried this when one of the payment dates passed and was reassured it would be in my account on the correct date. No surprise to say that it did not get paid in. After this i decided to not to do any further work for them. I sent an email to ask about pay which was ignored. They also said my Broadband was not compatible even after they had checked all of this for pre - employent and it was fine. The person who recruited me slated the owners of the company during induction which also rang alarm bells. I have never left reviews before but as far as this firm goes I would hate to see anyone discover how bad it was especially if they are giving up another job for this. Luckily I had other work so could just walk away. The biggest joke was I had my P45 returned stating that they had paid me and deducted tax! Please Stay clear!

    Pros

The calls are nice and customers are nice. You can work from the home. All the agents on the group chat are very nice and kind. Always they say hello and the seniors help you with issue no problem. Everyone make you welcome every day and take time to say hello.

    Cons

The system never work. Everyone has same problem but they always blame you as individual. My pay never is correct. I spend time having IT issues fixed which is there fault but you never get paid for this. I could not pay the way in this job as the problems means you can never earn enough.

I worked at Call IT Automotive full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free tea and coffee Some people get to work from home whereas I didn't.

    Cons

You're expected to work in a dusty and stuffy room with no windows whilst cold calling businesses for 7 hours straight. Most of the time you'll get yelled at as your disturbing people at work. Yep 7 hours of people yelling and sometimes swearing at you. You cant even take a minute break between calls as otherwise you'll get a call from a PARTICULAR manager threatening to basically fire you. As person below mentioned- you read a script word for word but you'll still have THAT manager blaming you for saying incorrect things when its on the script. Also, directors and managers never communicate! rules change every 5 mins so everyone is telling each other different things. Staff turnover is definitely something to see! Person below me is not joking when they said people start 9 am and leave before lunch time in tears. Saw this a few times. Even witnessed someone start at 9 am and by 9:20 am they had enough and walked out. Never saw him ever again. And yes, the directors are always on holiday but when you see one of them, expect to see him yelling at someone in person or over the phone. Seems like this guy seriously needs anger management. Most of the senior managers are incompetent, petty and aggressive. Honestly, I've never written a review of anything online before but had to write this as this place is seriously that bad. If you love yourself- honestly don't work here. You'll spend 7 hrs, 5 days a week reading the same script for barely any money plus managers undermining and threatening to fire you. No job security and minimum wage pay. You wont progress unless you're an absolute plonker. Wish I was exaggerating but this job was actually that bad.

I worked at Call IT Automotive full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Working from home is the motivation for most people that work here but I mainly worked in the office as it suited me.

    Cons

Well where do I start. Firstly, like the other comments have already said, don't think you will be paid for the hours you work. They dock your wages all the time, you don't get paid even if their equipment isn't working as it will be your fault not theirs. The staff turn over is something to see. People start in the morning a leave by lunchtime in tears and that is the absolute truth. They lose every good member of staff who tries to help them with ideas etc and as a result only keep the bad ones. They promote people that didn't know how to do their previous job let alone the one they have been promoted to. They promoted a certain person to the top from being a senior who has no idea how to train or sell or even speak to staff without winding them up. If I had an issue I was told to speak to my senior but he was basically off sick all month but wasn't even told he was off. I returned to work for them after leaving them before out of sheer desperation as they will literally take anyone on to work, they are that desperate. They give you a script to follow word for word then blame you for saying the wrong thing even though its on the script. I have heard cat fights in the office between the owners which is really unprofessional but we all have a great laugh over it and yes like the other people have said one of the owners is always off on holiday whilst everyone else is under massive pressure. They take on loads of staff then have to lay them all of or send them home when the work dries up. I think if you are a mum or something and just need a few hours work a day it would be an ok job but you can't plan your life as they don't give you enough pay or security to think about this as a career goal.

I worked at Call IT Automotive

    Pros

Working from home should be a pro, but for this place it's a zero hours contract minimum wage prison, with no time off for good behaviour

    Cons

Expect you to work 8am to 12am but dont want to pay you for it. Dock your wages any chance they get. Don't consider you a person but a machine, don't value you as an employee, don't even trust you, management always doing secret reports and trying to find any excuse to sack you. No job security, no clear instructions, but these change every five minutes anyway so you never know what you should be doing. No management skills, Directors always on holiday. Directors change their mind every 5 mins but no one to filter them so nothing is streamlined or finalised, always a mess, nothing works but it's your fault as an employee. No pay rises, bonus, no commission, minimal training, no support- no one has time to do their job as always damage controlling director snap decisions. Communication is bad but blamed on employees not listening. Always having to explain yourself especially when doing what you've been told. Staff turnover so fast it generates its own energy, but they even suck that up from you.

    Pros

There's a big tesco nearby that closes late so you can still buy dinner after your unpaid extra hours.

    Cons

No honest communication, too much scheming, too much improvisation in a fly-by-night kind of operation. I'd be hard pressed to find a single positive aspect of working here.
