I worked at Cambridge Assessment full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Friendly team, good manager, allowed to work independently. Good work life balance and fair pay packet.

    Cons

There is little career progression, most of the members of the team had been in the same role for a matter of years.

I worked at Cambridge Assessment full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It is a job, you can say you are employed... Flexible working hours? People usually get fooled by its Association with the University of Cambridge

    Cons

Low ethics, poor management, very bureaucratic, a lot of old elephants, no career progression opportunities, nepotism and favouritism in promotion, unprofessional HR department with no power, work to death!

I worked at Cambridge Assessment full-time

    Pros

Really good culture, very relaxed but productive

    Cons

Not enough clear career progression for me. People seem to be happy collecting a paycheck and working 9 -5, no clear senior management progression

I worked at Cambridge Assessment for less than a year

    Pros

Wonderful virtual teamwork amongst the bosses and colleagues, despite the fact that many of them are located all over the world in different timezones. One of the most established heritage brands in education, yet very progressive in adopting new technologies and channels.

    Cons

If you are a curriculum / programme developer, you are probably better off in the head office in the UK for career progression rather than in a satellite office.
