I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you are proactive, there are plenty of opportunities to excel.
Joined as an IT analyst, completed a reskilling academy and I'm now a Project Manager.

    Cons

Pay scales aren't inline with the job/work load.
    Appraisal system needs reviewing.

I worked at Capgemini full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Colleagues, collaboration, charitable efforts, good alumni

    Cons

Loyalty is not recognized and the integrity / honesty of certain leaders is questionable to say the least
Becoming too much of a body shop / high volume but low margin business
    Innovation is absolutely lacking
Lots of powerpoint & panel ware versus real experiences of doing things well

    Advice to Management

Lead from the front and be open and honest

    Matrix management culture
    Variety of colleagues
Interesting (if not sometimes hard) assignments
    Learning opportunities are (almost) endless
Work/Life harmony is in your control

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People movement internally across Businesses units is difficult.
    Lot of T&M based projcts
HR policies vary across different units.

    Cons

    Good exposure
    Global clients
    Salaries are good
    Work life balance is good

    Advice to Management

Reward mechanism needs to improve to get the best out an individual.
HR needs to share the vision of the business leadership and work as a partner rather than as order taker

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - Lots of opportunity to direct your own career, if you're willing to put the effort in.
    - Generally, very good colleagues who all want to help the customer achieve their goals.
    - Flexible working very good in most areas.
    - Day to day tech (i.e. laptops) are generally good spec.
    - Lots of support if you need it.
    - A very diverse workplace with all areas of IT happening somewhere.

    Cons

    - Sometimes years can go by without a pay rise, not even inflation, despite doing a 'good job'. Pay rises only available to those that excel, which means that salaries are stagnant in relation to the economy.
    - If you're not good at dealing with change then you might want to look elsewhere as things can change quickly and quite drastically sometimes, but usually for good business reasons.

    Advice to Management

People getting a 3, i.e. doing a GOOD job, should get inflationary pay rises otherwise it feels like getting a pay cut for doing a good job. This quickly leads to demotivation if a higher rating is unachieveable in the area you're working in.

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good benefits package, sick pay, holiday pay, flexible working hours, gym membership, reasonable/good management. Good technologies, training opportunities, move roles internally

    Cons

Better off leaving for a period of time, then rejoining if you want a decent pay rise. Not convinced they are paying market rates, if they are, they are at the lower end and dropping

    Advice to Management

Be more supportive of the people who work for you. Train people & give them awards, incentives for a job well done.
