I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - Lots of opportunity to direct your own career, if you're willing to put the effort in.
    - Generally, very good colleagues who all want to help the customer achieve their goals.
    - Flexible working very good in most areas.
    - Day to day tech (i.e. laptops) are generally good spec.
    - Lots of support if you need it.
    - A very diverse workplace with all areas of IT happening somewhere.

    Cons

    - Sometimes years can go by without a pay rise, not even inflation, despite doing a 'good job'. Pay rises only available to those that excel, which means that salaries are stagnant in relation to the economy.
    - If you're not good at dealing with change then you might want to look elsewhere as things can change quickly and quite drastically sometimes, but usually for good business reasons.

    Advice to Management

People getting a 3, i.e. doing a GOOD job, should get inflationary pay rises otherwise it feels like getting a pay cut for doing a good job. This quickly leads to demotivation if a higher rating is unachieveable in the area you're working in.

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good benefits package, sick pay, holiday pay, flexible working hours, gym membership, reasonable/good management. Good technologies, training opportunities, move roles internally

    Cons

Better off leaving for a period of time, then rejoining if you want a decent pay rise. Not convinced they are paying market rates, if they are, they are at the lower end and dropping

    Advice to Management

Be more supportive of the people who work for you. Train people & give them awards, incentives for a job well done.

I worked at Capgemini full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Great people , supportive colleagues

    Cons

In last two years everything felt very bargain basement , from salaries to kit , only investment in Digital space , all other technologies ignored .
Senior management very reactive , no vision outside digital , feel like Capgemini becoming a one trick pony

    Advice to Management

Communication think about It, telling female staff they are paid 16% less than male colleagues , then telling us to fix this you will hire female graduates and pay them more !!! remember its your teams that deliver ,

I worked at Capgemini full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Hires a lot of people.
Provides mandatory training, including professional one
    Tries to runperioding informal events

    Cons

Graguates are used as operational clerk, which does not help to learn any engineering profession
Professionals are treated as avarage work-bodies regardles their professional skills, preferences, offered values and best potential contributions
Managers decide everything regardless promoted "Agile culture"
Architectural ideas are ignored if they in any angel to the managerial decisions
Agile operational process is much more important than its business/technology outcome
The single delivery criteria is to keep a manager happy, what is actually delivered is immaterial.
Poor internal organisational and technology support
A lot of operational disconnected systems/tools

    Advice to Management

Sell expertise, not bodies. Respond to requirements, not to individual wishes to promote existing solutions.
