I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

We are kept informed of not only the accounts we work on, but all activities across the whole of Capgemini.
The values are great and I am increasingly seeing this being a part of everyone's mindset.
Training is now being held in virtual class rooms enabling Capgemini employees to across the world to train together.
    Good people.
Everyone matter, we are all given opportunity to be heard.
The encouragement to progress your career.
Support from management whilst dealing with personal issues.
Variation in roles you can undertake.

    Cons

For me it's the time it take to travel to and from work, but this was my decision and I have been doing this now for over 10 years.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing more of what you already do. Thank you

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The people are its greatest assets - some great people to work with, diverse, enthusiastic and respectful.

Lots of opportunities throughout the business - lots of industries, lots of technologies.

Good investment in technical knowhow, training and innovation, Capgemini gives people freedom to learn.

You really feel like you are part of a community.

Great training centre in Les Fontaines, bringing people together from all over the world. Makes you realise you are part of a diverse global company with a family feel to it.

    Cons

Easy to get caught up in intense project pressures and delivery - the community is there and leadership has a listening ear - don't forget to use it!

    Advice to Management

Keep 'walking the floor'. Get to know your people and make time for them, and they will respond with enthusiasm, creativity and productivity.

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good place for junior talent to develop with the apprentice and graduate programmes. Merit is rewarded. Probably not the most generous in terms of salary.

    Cons

job security is a bit of an issue in terms of the nature of the business. Every few years the contract you are working on goes up for re-tender and there is often a risk of work going off-shore

    Advice to Management

Foster more of a 'In it together' atmosphere and make everyone feel part of a team with a common purpose.
