I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - Lots of opportunity to direct your own career, if you're willing to put the effort in.
    - Generally, very good colleagues who all want to help the customer achieve their goals.
    - Flexible working very good in most areas.
    - Day to day tech (i.e. laptops) are generally good spec.
    - Lots of support if you need it.
    - A very diverse workplace with all areas of IT happening somewhere.

    Cons

    - Sometimes years can go by without a pay rise, not even inflation, despite doing a 'good job'. Pay rises only available to those that excel, which means that salaries are stagnant in relation to the economy.
    - If you're not good at dealing with change then you might want to look elsewhere as things can change quickly and quite drastically sometimes, but usually for good business reasons.

    Advice to Management

People getting a 3, i.e. doing a GOOD job, should get inflationary pay rises otherwise it feels like getting a pay cut for doing a good job. This quickly leads to demotivation if a higher rating is unachieveable in the area you're working in.

    Pros

generally good benefits package. friendly and supportive working environment for the most part. company slogan: "people matter, results count" is actually quite close to true.

    Cons

work-life balance often gets lost. generally pay below the market rate. quite bureaucratic.

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Everyone works together as a great team. Can develop at your own pace, regardless of the plentiful training facilities available.

    Cons

Known for not being the best paid. Grads can sometimes be left on roles which often results in a feeling of stagnation.

    Advice to Management

Invest and focus on your junior workforce if you wish to keep them beyond the "cell-by" 2-3 years.

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Variety of Projects and Opportunity, Good work ethics, Relaxing environment to work in

    Cons

If you end up in dead project and you have no where else to go then you might end up doing the role that you would not want to progress in your career. Upper management does not recognise talented junior talents, a lot of good engineers find out they are not compensated very well and leave. Salary is below average in the market and no bonus until you get to more senior level.

    Pros

    - Working for such a large organisation means you get to see many different parts of the business
    - Flexible working patterns are very much encouraged on most projects

    Cons
