Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience of working for CarShop– all feedback is incredibly important to us. We work very hard to make every store and business a great place to work for colleagues. We are making a lot of positive progress, and in a recent independent staff survey, 92% of colleagues were satisfied or very satisfied with their role and working for CarShop. Nevertheless we can do more, and we are constantly working to improve work/life balance and the skills of our Managers.

Big changes ahead.

Great colleagues and support from your indirect line managers.

Carshop are currently struggling, they’ve cut several things such as friends and family benefits simply do not exist any more officially, there are currently meetings going on frequent about a big upcoming “announcement” planned to happen in September which will see several jobs no longer required and will leave hundreds out of a job. There is also another announcement planned in November. Recently changes to policy happens soon as it is thought of with no general update to anyone. Their new HR system portal well myself and my colleagues are yet to be shown how to get on the website never mind how to use it. Managers also don’t think before they speak they talk with attitude and make sexist and inappropriate remarks about women, religion, and other issues seem the common and normal. They also promise training but this does not exist.
