I worked at Care UK full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of Trainings to make you prepared for job.

    Cons

None supportive management, very bullies, too much staff turned over, continuously staff shortage and no time to take breaks that putting too mach pressure on care staff making them to leave the job. If you raise an issue with management they tell you if you are not happy you can leave.

    Advice to Management

Management to show empathy, listen to care staff and put themselves in carers shoes to realise how is to work 12 hours shifts standing up and doing a lot of moving and handling especially when you are short of staff and not even able to take breaks.

I worked at Care UK full-time

    Pros

Depending on site the group floor staff work ridiculously hard and are generally a nice bunch.
Salary is alright in comparison to NHS.

    Cons

Management cannot communicate with their staff.
They dont understand that ground floor staff need to see patient rather than do this audit and that audit and this training or this meeting. Staff get last minute urgent requests and have no choice but to cancel appointments or clinics, potential at detriment to patient care.
Emails are forwarded for requests that at due tomorrow but the manager received over 2/3 months ago.
    No development opportunities
    No training opportunities
    No work/life balance
    Constant changing expectations
    No support.

    Advice to Management

Learn to speak to people. Learn to manage staff. Organise your diaries and email effectively. Or just leave.
