I have been working at Carnival full-time

    Pros

A large growing organisation that offer good opportunities for progress at the lower and mid career levels, if you can find the right role to display your abilities.

    Cons

Slow to change and quite risk adverse.
Inflated expectations from senior management. Investment in employees can be hit and miss
Numerous restructuring has led to high turn over in some areas

    Advice to Management

Ensure that management expectations are achievable. Look at why there's been high staff turnover in some areas and address the root causes.

Alot more attention needs to be paid to the ship board employees, promotion from inside the company rather than cheap external hires.

    Pros

Great work colleagues, offices and products to sell working for Carnival U.K

    Cons

Too Many directors and vice presidents all competing with each other and trying to be top dog.

    Advice to Management

Need to invest lower down the line instead of creating more directors and vice presidents to sit in meeting rooms all day recreating the wheel.

    I worked at Carnival full-time

    Pros

Okay product, however not sure as company should have gone out of way to have teams experience it!

    Cons

Most employees are actively working against the company because they don't feel activiely involved in the business. A hierarchical and borderline bullying culture prevails.

    Advice to Management

If you don't trust your teams, who can you trust?
