Pros

I got to meet and work with some very nice people.

Cons

This is a start up that's been around for a few years and they're still struggling to find investors--which means the pay is not stable.

Pros

I worked at Cascade for less than a year as a Loan Counselor collecting on past due mortgages. No formal training was provided, had a day of side by sides with other folks and then you are pretty much on your own. Literally within a week of starting I received an email to go online and leave positive reviews of the company (?). I've really not paid much attention to online reviews but in this instance with Cascade Financial, if you are considering accepting a position here, read the reviews and take them to heart. Salary is average, goals are not attainable and the few that do make their goals should be considered suspect as directors will manipulate the numbers for certain folks to alter the outcomes. EVERY report is a manual process, all put into an excel doc and edited and manipulated from there so there isnt a way to truly verify anything. Benefits are horrible and extremely expensive, as in 800+ a month employee cost for employee + children coverage. They have a 401k plan with no match at all. HR dept is truly incompetent and provides no direction when needed. Most if not all servicing and collections management are former Ditech folks and as mentioned provide no direction other than to make your calls. Very poor environment and morale is very low. No raises for anyone yet they continue to claim they are obtaining new business

Cons

Please take some time to re-read this review as its entirely factual. I wish I would have read and considered the other negative reviews before accepting a position at Cascade Financial Services, if I did I would have never entertained a position there.

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF WORKING HERE...RUN AWAY FAST

Pros

I have made some longtime lasting friendships there with peers.

Cons

This company is the worst I have ever worked for. This place is nepotism and high school bullying at its best. There is no communication between management and employees as well as not having a structured work environment that makes any sense. Its chaos from the time you start with no formal training to the frustrating end with no plan for a better work flow or a better system. They try this and that hoping it will work but lack any experience or leadership to get it done. The management team is a mean spirited group of millennials that make fun of people at every turn, talk about you if you are not in their clique and eventually work on getting you out the door if you challenge any thought process. The family has all been moved around to protect their jobs after the company was sold to Centerbridge last year. They threw out the once beloved company culture once it was sold out leaving it with management who run a muck and who don't care about anything but making a dollar at all costs - including the employees health and sanity. It is a sweat shop mentality and no matter what you do its never acknowledged or rewarded unless you are a favorite. The morale has sadly hit rock bottom. In addition the benefits are expensive, terrible and there is no 401k match with low pay grade. Good luck to you if you try to take this mess on. I don't know of any company I have ever worked for that has told its employees to go out on social media and write a good review for them - you can read here why. How sad it has come to this.
