Pros

Industry experience. Cashedge has good knowledge in Payments Industry and its functioning.

Cons

Senior Management seriously lacks leadership capabilities. Most people in senior positions (director and above) are over-promoted and lack basic leadership and project management skills. As a result, many competent senior employees have chosen to leave the firm. Management is well aware that employee morale is very low but does not want to address the issue. The company is very used to slipping deadlines. When employees leave, Management is not bothered as they know they can slip another set of deadlines and be okay.

Pros

If a person is not interested to learn new technologies and is just happy doing the regular work then cashedge is the best place to be

Cons

step 1. I come to office 2., code, 3. go home 4. go to step 1 There is 0 learning. We don't get proper support for development, there are no processes involved, when the whole world is going Agile, CE is sitting with a strange model that is totally in-efficient, any suggestions to the lead is straight away rejected and the manager will not give you his ears to listen to the normal software engineer, manager likes only the lead, are we in-efficient in anyway? I don't know... my friends in QA have this same complaint as well, for some reason managers are in love with the leads...

Pros

Could Gain some domain knowledge on some of the products in cashedge . For freshers it is a Good break to get work experience

Cons

I had very worst experience with Cashedge . There is no voice for ordinary S/W engineers. Most of the management and team leads are Bureaucrats. There is no proper process so at the end all the blame will be put on the team member by the leads if any issue arises in production. There is not chance of getting promotion because exsisting leads wont leave the companyand there are no big projects to increase the strengthand to give promotion for good resources . some of them all lucky to go onsite for 3 months. They put people in performance improvement plan any time with out sense.They dont have proper Hire and fire policy they have fired many Good people who have worked for 3-4 years due to politics, so job security is very very less . Overall the company is not good for a professionals. please never ever join this company even if they offer fat package
