I have been working at Charles River Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Interesting and varied project work and the opportunity to get involved in internal initiatives - Capable colleagues and a spirit of camaraderie, particularly amongst junior staff - Some project managers are really exceptional and go above and beyond to teach you new skills and advise on next steps in your role and career more generally

    Cons

The major con at CRA is the unpredictable and long hours. It's not uncommon to be given tight deadlines out of the blue and we often have to stay late in the evenings to make these. This makes it challenging to have a work-life balance, especially from Monday to Friday.

I have been working at Charles River Associates full-time for more than a year

    Pros

People truly care about your development at CRA. You get a global company feel, and also the feeling of working for a boutique firm. You are made to feel part of the culture and part of the team from day one. The work life balance is good for a consultancy, better than most. Benefits are great at the company.

    Cons

They are recruiting a lot at the moment, and it seems like they need to plan for this better. The recruiting teams seem overworked and understaffed for the amount of people they are trying to recruit into the company. This is just a suggestion; I have nothing bad to say about the company.
