I have been working at Charles River Associates full-time

    Pros

Very transparent working environment with the ability to engage and collaborate with senior staff
More focus on quality of work rather than quantity
Junior staff members are not over-staffed on projects
Variety of different projects to work on within the Life Science practice
Flexible working hours outside of project deadlines to see to other commitments
    Free lunch wednesday

    Cons

Some expectations to work long hours
A less structured and more flexible approach to performance reviews results in less feedback provided for professional development and delays to promotion
Due to a recently growing firm, the knowledge management infrastructure is lacking and there are fewer internal resources to assist junior staff

I have been working at Charles River Associates full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

People truly care about your development at CRA.
You get a global company feel, and also the feeling of working for a boutique firm.
You are made to feel part of the culture and part of the team from day one.
The work life balance is good for a consultancy, better than most.
Benefits are great at the company.

    Cons

They are recruiting a lot at the moment, and it seems like they need to plan for this better. The recruiting teams seem overworked and understaffed for the amount of people they are trying to recruit into the company.
This is just a suggestion; I have nothing bad to say about the company.

I worked at Charles River Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Many different teams with the firm but allows you to have the benefits of working in a 'small company' under the umbrella of a larger corporation
    - The small company feels means that the you have access to the senior management of your division

    Cons

    - The divisions are quite siloed and therefore minimal interaction across the firm and the culture does not run across the firm
