      Great place to work.

      Pros

      - Great location A spacious office over looking the River Thames by London Bridge, a stones throw away from the station. - Very competitive salary - Great management, directors, and SLT (Senior Leadership Team) Once a month, schedule allowing, one of the founders of Charles Tyrwhitt would come in to meet all of the new hires, go around the table asking of their work history and ambitions, and then tell the story of how CT began and then invite those new hires to socialise, ask questions, and have a drink in the lunch area over looking the Thames. - Social Committee Office video games night with food and drink Office fitness classes (Proceeds to charity) Lunch time runs Lunch time walks After work runs 5 a side league football team Morning wellness/relaxation sessions Thirsty Thursday: last thurs of every month, an update on trading with the CFO, CEO, and drinks all round. etc - Very collaborative A company where departments/teams actually work together to get things done right! Oh! and 50% off clothing! The work ethic is reflected in how well personnel are treated. Most people are happy to be there and it shows in the quality of their work. Personnel aren't expected to stay late for no reason, or because of the perks. People do great work during office hours and that's good for everyone.

      Cons

Due to Covid, some of the above may have been affected but, as soon as things return to normal, I'm sure all of the great stuff will too!

Dear Ex-Colleague, Thank you for dropping in and sharing your thoughts. We couldn't agree with you more; we are totally spoilt with the location of our Head Office and our friendly Tyrwhitteers are just another reason to love working here! We do take on-board your comment about equipment and space, although we do think it's a little bit unfair! It's really no secret that as the business has grown, unsurprisingly, so has our headcount and the demand for equipment and space has never been greater. Gosh, we might even outgrow this office one day - fancy that! Best Wishes Team CT

      Pros

      Great location and office

      Cons

Poor induction especially as this was pulled together by someone senior in HR, no benefits, no career progression, small minded, not open to challenge or change, real blame culture and not an inspiring place to work.

      Talent Acquisition Manager

Dear Former Employee, We are concerned to read this review. Thank you for commenting on our office and the location. We are proud of our working environment and agree it is fantastic. The rest of your message however, makes for difficult reading. This is certainly not the type of feedback we are used to receiving or take lightly. We are genuinely sorry to learn you feel this way about our company. We offer a robust and wide reaching corporate induction in which new Head Office employees are given the opportunity to meet our founder, our CEO, senior leaders and their key stakeholders. We clearly communicate our heritage, our values and our vision for the future. In addition new starters are invited to attend a detailed HR induction, systems training as required and offered other support specific to their roles. Line managers are encouraged to take new starters for lunch during their first week, to spend lots of time with them, to provide team introductions and to ensure people have all they need to get the start possible. We hold reviews with all new starters after three months to ensure they have been fully and appropriately inducted and to work through any challenges that may have arisen. Charles Tyrwhitt is a fast growing business with big ambitions. We thrive on challenge and change. This has driven the success we enjoy today and excitingly pushes us to continue reaching for tomorrow. Our story is inspiring and engaging to those who are motivated by the opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial company in which they can make a difference. We do expect dedication and hard work but we also reward and develop those who have the potential and professionalism to help us take the business further. It is disappointing that you were not here long enough to experience this for yourself. Thank you for taking the time to feedback your feelings. We take Glass Door reviews seriously. We strive to be a great, engaging and rewarding place to work. As such we welcome you to contact us if you would like to help us further understand your dissatisfaction. Kind regards, The Talent Acquisition Team PS: Very glad to see you approve of our newly appointed CEO, David Boynton. Thank you.
