Great, friendly atmosphere Managers are very supportive and the whole team are very welcoming A really fun working environment Opportunities for progression

      Cons

It is a temporary contract, so there will be a good few months where you will be unemployed.

      Pros

The staff is helpful and cooperative. The training is sufficient. The working hours are good the workload is not too much, the working environment is organised and clean, the Assistant F&B Manager is a sweetheart and will help you with everything you need.

      Cons

CWOA is part of the Merlin Entertainment (responsible for hiring the employee) and the HR Department is hard to reach. I had an issue with my National Insurance Number, informed them right away the day I was informed I was hired and when I encountered an issue with my payroll because of the National Insurance Number, three weeks later, that was when my issue was resolved.

      Pros

There are many positives while working at Chessington the opportunity to process upwards in the company was apparent from the beginning. The work environment is fast paced and my manager was very motivating knowing how to get the best from his team. The social side of the company is great with big annual events.

      Cons

The recruitment of new staff is often difficult due to the nature of the work environment, its a very quick learning curve that many new employees struggle with resulting in them being carried by the rest of the team.

      Pros

Great learning and development opportunities, fun working environment, regular and generous staff benefits and socials.

      Cons

Low salaries and seemed to be a culture where people were promoted due to length of service not ability and potential.

      Pros

Nice people to work with, fun work environment and atmosphere, good benefits (Merlin Pass, 60% off discounts), social events, career progression opportunities!

      Cons

Pay is just the minimum wage (however I believe they are going to adapt this to the Living Wage of £8.5 per hour next year or 2018), other than that I can't think of many cons!
