    Pros

Progressive, forward-thinking company that understands the chemistry business.

    Cons

Pronounced bias in favor of engineers. If you aren't a ChemE, don't bother applying.

I worked at Chevron Phillips Chemical full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good benefits...medical 401k match, pension

    Cons

Bullying, yelling, withholding information pertinent to job function, etc., etc., goes unchecked. At least 3 people in my division were called in before HR on 3+ occasions each for harassment /bullying. Those who filed complaints were the first to be terminated when layoffs hit. The perpetrators are still employed.

I worked at Chevron Phillips Chemical for less than a year

    Pros

My internship with CPChem was valuable and rewarding as they had me work on projects that added value to the company instead of giving me busy work and sitting in on conferences. My team was incredibly friendly, and the environment was collaborative which I appreciated greatly.

    Cons

I have very little to say negatively; however, one area of improvement could be the a slight lack of diversity in the IT department.

    Cons

Bonus a little on low end. Management is cool. Every company has its quirks but not too bad.
