They say they want your expertise but then consult you on absolutely nothing. Managers make decisions for how things should be ran that do not correlate to anything you point out as an issue. They begged me to come aboard promising it was a good career move from my already established position in administration, so I left a stable job to make this career change they advised and then they let me go at the beginning of this year after only two months of work. It was extremely busy and took us forever to catch up. I feel they lied to me to use my labor and had a plan the whole time to not keep me long term. I feel that should be considered a violation in some way but isn't because they screwed me and my family over to use my labor for 2 months so they could catch up.
