      Pros

Small organisation with opportunity to work closely with other departments and all levels of staff status, from CEO to interns and volunteers. Interesting busy site in a busy interesting and historic area. Incredibly close to London Bridge Station, for the ideal commute.

      Cons

Little opportunity for career development and no opportunity for career progression.

      Pros

Great org to work for, providing a lot of support.

      Cons

Some of the thinking is outdated but in my specific case, they were trying to modernise, although this would take a while as you can imagine.

      Pros

A very high level of respect is given to all staff, being an organisation where you are not just a number but respected as a person who can add your own knowledge and experiences to the team. A caring organisation who know right from wrong and go further than any others with the way it thinks and cares about the staff. I have worked here through out the Pandemic so far and all the staff's needs, wants and safety have been taken into consideration with a no holds barred approach to our wellbeing. The IT service and equipment is brilliant, the normal glitches as anywhere else but dealt with speedily. Trusting the staff to do the right thing for both the business and our customers is upmost and you are given time to think about the issue in hand and to deal with it in the correct way. There are further chances/opportunities to expand on your own knowledge as further training, job shadowing and support is offered at all times. Internal staff all have a bonded approach and are helpful to each other when needed. Offering help, advice and support to colleagues, they look to each other to resolve any issues arising and having a great social side within the teams means that everyone is happy to help with no "stepping on" to climb ladders A business that is always looking to improve its service and how things are done No manager is unapproachable and are all seen as a person and one of the team

      The culture is amazing!

      Pros

I have never been thanked so much in my life! The time people at all levels take to show welcome and appreciation is truly humbling. It inspires me to be more encouraging of others and creates a great culture to be working in. The emphasis on wellbeing has made it feel a very safe place to be during the Covid-19 pandemic. The internal comms are really interesting and highlight some of the inspirational work being undertaken by different departments.

      Cons

The press headlines highlight the imperfections and yet they are matched with a clear acknowledgement of the issues and a commitment to making changes.

A great place to work and serve the Church

      Pros

Great working environment, warm and friendly atmosphere. Working here really gives you a chance to make a difference through the work that the C of E does as the national church. My working day is varied, and the work interesting, and I am well managed, and part of a friendly team. Church how is a great place to work, in a great location (Westminster)

      Cons

Church politics! The church sometimes can be controversial, and receives negative coverage in the press, and on Social Media and depending on your role, this can affect you.
