I worked at Citibank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Staff restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, by quality chefs. Independent working environment, planning own work load. Pleasant working environment astethic.

    Cons

Independent working environment becomes a challenge when you need help. Difficult to get hold of a senior to ask questions. Sometimes you are left to your own devices, and can feel confused about what you need to do.

    Pros

Benefits such as health care and bonus. Competitive salary and a vast array of job opportunities for further progression and development

    Cons

Citibank does not offer a structured training environment. Training is on the job and self lead, this makes it hard to fulfill your full potential and progress due to the limited help and support manager or team leader are willing to offer.

    Advice to Management

More training and development of staff

bad environment , without training, Managers that dont know the process that they are dealing with. Also I never saw in my life a messy place like that. If you dont ask about who is who nobody will tell you. Useless meetings and managers stock in the past.

    I worked at Citibank full-time

    Pros

It is a very large company with very incoherent lines of responsibility so you can get away with doing very little, if you like that.

    Cons

American employees seem to run the show, regardless of experience or knowledge. Constant structural changes results in loss of valuable knowledge with little or no contingencies in place.

    Advice to Management

The best employees are usually already present within teams and should not be overlooked for more senior roles in place of US counterparts. For some reason I worked with many great employees that were continually overlooked.
