I have been working at Co-op full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Yearly pay rise, discount from high st stores, great colleagues to work alongside with, Night shift team leaders are brilliant.

    Cons

Poor planning in loading of trucks, English depot thinks Scotland is only a small place and drops are about 20-30 miles apart which waste a lot of fuel

    Advice to Management

    Get a grip on yourselves

I have been working at Co-op full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The pay is ok, team managers are good. Decent vehicles.

    Cons

Long hours, top managers don't like drivers, not flexible, don't get any praise from top managers for all the deliveries that are made on time and in inclement weather conditions.

    Advice to Management

Praise the drivers more, listen, engage with us.

    Pros

The wages are not bad for my area and you are home every night.

    Cons

You must work 2 weekends on to get the following one off , dont even try to take a weekend off as a holiday to spend time at your friends and families events like birthdays wedding etc even if it is you own daughters wedding day.

    Advice to Management

Listen to drivers , try trusting them .

I have been working at Co-op full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Going home and rest days Close to home easy to get to

    Cons

Fail to listen to people on the frontline (drivers) So much emphasis on kpi, that all communications and good atmosphere has disappeared from workplace. Feel totally Un appreciated by the whole company who claim to be listening but never do anything to improve conditions Been there 9 years and been offered no career development for promotion Unfriendly work rotas ruining family life.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff Stop promising your listening and then do nothing to improve conditions, Stop pressuring us to break the law and commit unsafe work practices.
