I have been working at Cobalt Recruitment full-time

    Pros

Reputation - provides an excellent foundation for you to build a successful career in Real Estate recruitment
Staff - great team with varied characteristics across the UK, great team bond and friendships in the offices
Remuneration - competitive salary and bonus structure compared to others
Management - recent changes to structure seem to have improved the business and the managers, collectively, are accessible and a great help
Career progression - always felt my career is moving forward
An annual survey of staff thoughts seems to bring about change - most recently allowing casual Friday's

    Cons

More creative incentives would be welcome

    Advice to Management

Encourage more competition via incentives and keep communicating with staff

I have been working at Cobalt Recruitment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people are lovely and all genuinely get on.
There is scope for progression and if you are unhappy in an area they are willing to let you try something new.
They reward you if you work hard and are successful; incentive trips, vouchers, days off etc.

    Cons

    Don't allow flexi-hours.
Could spend a bit more on tools that will help us do our job i.e advert slots and other marketing tools .
Could participate in more events across all areas, not just in GP.

I worked at Cobalt Recruitment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Very welcoming
    Strong training programme
    International travel opportunities
    Niche and focussed sector

    Cons

Typical recruitment atmosphere very KPI driven over personal progression and development
Not much room for growth in role
    Flexibility for employees is low

    Advice to Management

Management in some teams seems old fashioned and fear driven
Can tend towards a micromanagement strategy

  9. "Great team, fun office, by far the best recruitment firm out there"

I have been working at Cobalt Recruitment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Cobalt is a great team of people who know their stuff about Real Estate, everyone works hard but has fun whilst doing so. They take a mature approach to recruitment allowing anyone to progress their careers should they want to, but also reward those who don't with a progressive bonus structure. KPI's are not the most important factor here, everyone runs their own business and are encouraged to build lasting relationships with their clients rather than achieving the highest number of statistics.

Great office in the heart of the West End, huge market presence, international trips, excellent training options.

    Cons

Not many cons here at Cobalt on a personal development level. The only couple of points to mention would be; Flexible working not enforced and they can tend to hold onto staff for too long.

    Nit picking;
    Lack of toilets
    No WiFi

    Advice to Management

    Consistency across teams.

I have been working at Cobalt Recruitment (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Cobalt is an excellent place to work.
I have been trained up from a graduate and have developed over the years to Senior Consultant and now managing two individuals.
They have provided both internal hands on training and external training plus I get the opportunity to learn from industry qualified individuals that work within the business.
Cobalt also has a family friendly feel and there are plenty of social events to be involved in whether it's running a 10km for charity or being rewarded by a top billers lunch.

    Cons

No con's at all - it is a lovely place to work.
