Pros

- Fully remote - Interesting product

Cons

Used to be a great company. Everything changed after Series C. All great people I knew either left or got fired. Sad to see how bad can things turn in a mere 1.5 years.

Pros

Remote, some coworkers were nice, it WAS diverse.

Cons

Where to start... the organizations leaders do not know how to lead. One minute you'll have fantastic feedback and told you're doing great then the next you'll be let go. I was employed and met expectations the entire employment. Launched multiple large projects and was talking often in my 1:1 about my career path. They ask you to help interview new candidates and then take virtually 0 feedback about your experience with the candidate. Which will lead to you having to teach new employees things they lied and said they did know how to do. What else... oh upper management will just cancel meetings and avoid talking to you - that's how you know your time is coming up. There is almost NO constructive feedback, they wait until you mess up and then use that as reasons to discipline. They say "move fast and make mistakes" but don't actually live up to the motto. I found myself going to work everyday with anxiety not knowing if I was doing enough or not. Management speaks extremely vulgar in meetings and talks distastefully about other employees and firms they work with. When you try to celebrate diversity you'll be met with adversity and told the company has no right to make stances, on basic human rights mind you, and we can celebrate behind closed doors. Wonder why everyone knows each other so well? They all used to be coworkers and it's a big part of the culture. If you're not one of them you're on the outside. also they don't respect your time zone specific working hours. If you've made it this far and still choose to go through with your interview... goodluck lol.

Toxic Leadership and Declining Product

Pros

Remote work with no potential of having to return to office because there is no office

Cons

Over the last year, the leadership team became exponentially more toxic and incompetent. It honestly seems like they are trying their hardest to run the company to the ground. They used to at least pretend to consider dissenting ideas but now they don't even do that - they're looking for an echo chamber to stroke their egos. It's especially bad because they don't know what they're doing. Most of the leadership team doesn't lead, they just come up with bad ideas that they force other people to work on and when it doesn't work out, they fire people seemingly randomly.
