Pros

I've worked at Colt for over 10 years and I love how seriously inclusion and diversity is taken at a senior level and the opportunities for all employees to get involved. Flexible working policies and the support of several great managers has helped me stay working continuously whilst bringing up my children. I also love the Colt Early years programme which has brought so much creative new talent into the company. The culture has changed for the better over the years and I feel like its a really dynamic, inclusive and exciting place to work. Support for employees during lockdown has been brilliant.

Cons

Workload per role has always been intense and has worsened over lockdown with so many video calls and emails.

Pros

1/ Open & communicative culture 2/ Plenty of room to grow in roles, lots of opportunity to develop & progress 3/ Responsive & flexible working environment given recent circumstances w/ stress-free working from home 4/ Stability & low turnover rate, many people there for 10+ years, encourages internal hiring

Cons

1/ A lot to get accustomed to as a new starter, might take a short while to adapt to terminologies, systems etc. - perfectly manageable if you're an adaptable person

Pros

Colt is a really progressive tech company with no face time and really embraces flexible working. It may sound cliched but what makes the company are the people, which are genuinely caring and friendly.

Hours can be longer following month ends.

- Many projects to look at future ways of working, employee experience, I&D - Future looking company and passionate leaders - Young atmosphere - Good support for employees during Covid-19 e.g. financial assistance/safe working allowance - Flexible working hours

- Lack of inter-function cohesion - Aiming hard in lots of different areas but not quite achieving any yet e.g. I&D (black employees will give a very different view to white employees as to whether racism is a problem or not). - Currently in a process of flux and change with new CEO - Low expectations of entry level staff - need to drive progress yourself - Too many complicated tech systems for a company that is tech-savvy

Pros

What a better time to write a review than during this unfortunate COVID-19 Pandemic. Colt, the executive team and senior management have handled this extremely well. There has been constant support, WFH funding, almost weekly all-hands led by the CEO, mental health support and so much more. I am very lucky, impressed and proud to work a company that has done everything and more to support their employees during this difficult time. Additional points: - Flexible working enviroment (WFH policy promotes a great work/life balance) - Everybody is super helpful - Great cross communication between executive team and employees - Open to ideas and action-ing promoting growth and change - Identified the importance of diversity and there are initiatives in place to improve this, so the coming year(s) will prove its success

- Sometimes a few too many processes can cause delays

Pros

Great people who are passionate about what they do and the organisation which is infectious. Flexible working. Treated like an adult and given autonomy to get on with work. Brilliant clean & new office Flat level hierarchy can sit next to VP and regularly see CEO around the building. Great on-boarding process.

Slow internet connection at times, but aware it's being improved

Pros

Good working environment and culture. A company that supports employees that want to progress with an opportunity to learn and also do courses etc. Flexible working which for those with a long commute to work is very helpful. Option to wfh is allowed depending on approval from your line manager. Colt is a company where you will always be learning as it is a progressive global company. Colt is one of the best telco/technology companies I have ever worked for!
