    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Compuware full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The culture encourages new ideas and new ways of bringing value to our customers. We are encouraged to engage customers in our development efforts to deliver what the market needs. This keeps us relevant and makes it easier for us to retain and win customers. We have a very flexible work environment, a generous remuneration package and a 'family' culture that you just don't want to leave!

    Cons

Honestly, nothing comes to mind! That is why I enjoy working here so much.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the momentum of involving customers closely in our innovation strategies and growing our partner network.

    I worked at Compuware full-time

    Pros

Exciting work. Good-work life balance. It was a place where I worked close to 10 years and I hevry very fond memories of the company as a whole.

    Cons

Around 2009 the CEO handed over the baton to a new CEO who set himself the goal to sell the company for max profit. He proceeded, split the company in 2 and 1000s lost their jobs.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees and stay true to the foundation of Compuware.

I have been working at Compuware full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They've got some great products that can really do what they say they do. The people are really friendly and there's a relaxed atmosphere.

    Cons

They have a terrible go to market execution and don't provide structured career development plans. Senior management don't seem to focus on the companies strengths and instead are either focussed on selling the company or driving their own agenda. They also tend to pay below the market rate.

    Advice to Management

Need to attract and retain the best talent, there are a lot of clever, agile and attractive companies in the same market space that offer great incentives and provide awesome cultures. They need to compete with these people and Compuware isn't a big enough name on it's own to attract this talent.
