I have been working at Conagra Brands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Environment is fairly relaxed.

    Cons

Technology is out of date. The company doesn't know whether they are using Agile, Waterfall, KANBAN, etc. They like to mix these development styles and use them improperly, defeating the purpose. Conference rooms are impossible to book. Office is noisy because people are always on the phones. Probably not anymore, though, because they fired everyone.

    Advice to Management

You should not have fired everyone.

I have been working at Conagra Brands for more than 10 years

    Pros

Time Off and Summer hours are great. More time with your family. Good if you want a strict corporate atmosphere to work in.

    Cons

Company has outsourced everything. Helpdesk and IT resources are poor at best. What used to take hours now takes days. In addition, with the layoff of thousands fof employees, ConAgra employees work out of fear not because they have any loyalty to the company. Many are voluntarily leaving. Seems like they eliminated the older higher paid employees and replaced them with cheaper temporaries and new employees in the "quick...

    Advice to Management

None. They know what they are doing. They've done it before. Everytime the new CEO takes over a new company he finds some reason to move the company to Chicago. This time it was our "connection" with that city. ConAgra has no connection with Chicago except the fact that the CEO is from there.

I have been working at Conagra Brands full-time

    Pros

Great benefits starting off - 3 weeks vacation in addition to occasional leave, 401k match, telecommute once a week. The corporate culture used to be fantastic when I joined as an intern, now all those people who used to make coming to work worthwhile are no longer with the company. The work itself was never rewarding, but the pay was nice and the people were unbeatable. The new organization is one I am thankful to...

    Cons

Loss of identity/culture, on call schedules, senior leadership have very little care or focus for those who do the work that matters. The move to Chicago is to attract top talent to the newly named ConAgra Brands. My only advice to young top talent is to stay away from ConAgra. Find a job where you're valued and that you value.

I have been working at Conagra Brands for more than a year

    Pros

Was great experience for just starting out in IT.

    Cons

Been here a little over a year. Wanted to stay much longer but since the company shifted its course entirely I no longer have a job with the company.

    Pros

Good people to work with as well as nice benefits

Many projects seem to not work towards company greater good or are not communicated why they are being worked on.

    Advice to Management

    More focused

I have been working at Conagra Brands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The pay is very competitive. The benefits are decent. Flexible work hours, can work from home, etc.

    Cons

Current organizational changes leading to lots of job insecurity. Work environment has become "big business" very quickly.

    Advice to Management

Continue to offer as much visibility as possible to all employees. Offer incentives to retain employees as everyone is jumping ship.

I have been working at Conagra Brands

    Pros

-rotational aspect of job allows you to change the things you work on -lots of work flexibility, never pressured to not use vacation -can work from home. In fact it's required at least once a week

    Cons

-large corporate bureaucracy can be slow and hard to maneuver around. -easy to get lost in the sea of people. will need to work real hard to promote yourself and your value over the rest. -going through a MAJOR restructuring of SG&A (includes IT). Not a strong outlook for backoffice jobs

    Advice to Management

figure out what Con Agra's future is going to be soon before you lose all of your talent!

I have been working at Conagra Brands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits, I really enjoy the people on my team. Before all of the changes there were several different projects going on that provide career advancement opportunities.

    Cons

The changes going on right now bring a lot of uncertainty for the future of the company. New executive leadership is hard to take seriously.

    No Opinion of CEO

I have been working at Conagra Brands full-time

    Pros

Flexible hours, easy-going manager, telecommuting once a week, days given for time off, pay

    Cons

Wish you could telecommute more days, no assigned desks (hoteling)

    Advice to Management

Do not try to outsources too much and/or too fast because you will end up having to hire people again and would have damaged relationships with current employees. Also, look into other options like selling buildings and having people telecommute as another means to save money and keep same expertise.
