Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Contiki full-time
Pros
-Fun team activities & parties (incredible Christmas party every year) -Great discounts but (obviously) only applicable on Travcorp products -Good benefits package -They try to hire from within as much as possible, even if the inside hire doesn't posess all the necessary qualifications.
Cons
-Poor incentive structure -Tone-deaf executives -Very low pay. Raises are rare. A lot of people struggle financially at the company and work overtime to try to make a few extra dollars -High turnover -Not many opportunities for promotions - mostly just lateral movements to support departments in The Travel Corporation

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Contiki full-time for less than a year
Pros
The people that you work with are all amazing.
Cons
-Schedule is all over the place and no consistency - Low pay and commission - No raises -No room for growth (if you do move up the pay isn't much more) - Very micro-managed -Everything that you do is being timed and if you aren't fast enough you'll be asked what is taking you so long - Tons of issues that are simple to fix to make employees more efficient are ignored - Reservations is the only phone number for people to call, so you will deal with every issue that people have such as, website issues, travel agent site issues, passengers on trip issues, etc. (you'll provide them the information for the best team to reach out to but they won't receive a response for several weeks or at all) -You can never provide a solution for them (you're just the middle man who has to get the answer from a different team 3 days after the customer called in) -Advertise that you will get a free trip after one year of service, but you don't and if you're lucky enough to eventually get one after a couple of years you must be there for 6 months minimum after you return.

"Good but not Great"

RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Contiki full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
This is a fun, young company to work for. Work attire is causal.
Cons
Since it is a young environment, it can feel like high school with people aligning themselves in cliques. Also, they do not offer competitive salaries or benefits because they don't need to. With a relatively young workforce people tolerate the low pay in exchange for the youthful/casual environment. It's a good place to start your career but not somewhere to stay long term.
