    Disgusting work ethic

    Some nice staff Lovely receptionist Canteen has hot and cold food available as well as vending machines Free parking space Walking distance from Asda/Aldi/Mac Donald's/Pizza Hut

    Cons

    ~Mismanagement is a daily occurrence no briefs are done at start of shift, ~certain staff get to stroll in whenever they please, favouritism. ~ poor work ethic ~ managers can eat on call centre floor in British Gas campaign, charge phones, have phone out, ~shout directions to call shift workers whilst having CUSTOMERS on phone instead of asking call workers to mute something to explain something they may have forgot (occasionally) ~ seems to be smokers paradise, staff are rolling their cigs pop out whenever they feel like having one no questions asked. ~ staff told to hide food or mobile phones as their customer British Gas Is due on site ~for same job and better pay British Gas offers 6 weeks training, this offers 8 days training with no blank screenshots to see in training or rescheduling know how except a script ~ almost impossible to get right as seems to contradict last, one one will say "must write in agent work bench for rescheduling" other will say "don't bother" but staff will be pulled up about it. ~feels more like 6th form/college than actual workplace literally cleaning teams are more organised than this.

    Decent-ish money, nothing else of note

    Cons

    Everything else TLs do nothing (as already stated by other people), only met two I respected (one left before I did, the other one is there currently there in a temporary role (while one is on a leave of absence) and unlikely to stay in the role as not in the clique) Majority of LA's are useless and only in that position as they're friends of TL's and the LA's that came before them (one progressed to floorwalking and then to LA all in a few hours, was informed by his best friend who just happened to be LA, draw your own conclusions) Using useless systems that don't work properly but won't admit it and blame the shortcomings on their workforce. If you need to wait well over an hour for a computer to actually get to the desktop from the login screen that's an issue with the machine, not the agent. Run like a cult where they want everyone to drink their koolaid, and quickly filter out the people who don't, no matter how good they may be at their job Have no concern for having any work/life balance and only care about running people into the ground. Not surprised with the high turnaround of staff Management tried to give "rewards" like cheap little prizes or candy if you got a certain number of positive reviews back from customer during specific times frames, but it all just felt pathetic, childish, and completely inadequate to make up for the stress of being screamed at over the phone by dozens of customers every day. Everyone was so beaten down and worn out from dealing with angry callers all of the time. Very miserable, depressing work environment. Friends of management get good shifts, everyone else better get used to constant weekends and late shifts

    Pay increases and opportunity for advancement

    Cons

    Feedback on call reviews always found something for you to improve even if you consistently scored high on each call and were a faithful, good employee. They couldn't just appreciate the good employees. Every second is watched in the call center environment even if the customer needs time and care taken to explain situations.
