Tough Work, Tough Environment but Good Pay

    Pros

    - Your experience can vary greatly depending on which TL (Team Leader) you have. Some are kind and helpful and knowledgeable. - Paid two week training. (Again, the quality varies.) - Clear expectations. Make sure to keep the "metrics," like average call time, taking only the break time given, etc.

    Cons

    - Tedious and repetitive. - Customers can call in very upset and sometimes there just isn't anything to do for them.

    Pros

a somewhat steady paycheck -- if it's even right (their systems are constantly broken)

    Cons

    - working EVERY weekend - being talked to like you're in grade school - Expected to be "yes" people - and never question anything -- no matter how asinine what they do is. - WalMart may actually pay more.

    Good place to start working.

    Pros

Pay is competitive compared to other employers when it comes to starting pay, with a chance for permanent raises periodically. Sizable break room with a patio space for those that like to get some fresh air. Dress code is relaxed so there is no need for a uniform, although some guidelines to have to be followed when it comes to the dress code.

    Cons

Can be moved to different projects with little to no notice. On the job training for new materials isn't a bad thing, but sometimes, you may receive training for something you may not even be able to use later on. This is more to the Xfinity Mobile project, but unless you are Floor Support or a Team Leader, when it comes to initiating returns and/or exchanges, most regular agents do not have access to initiate a return or exchange.

    Pros

Convergys will hire with little or no experience for some positions. Paid training. Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Tuition Reimbursement, 401K Professional call center and very well maintained by facilities. Involved in the community - lots of charitable contributions, events Most of the managers were agents, so they get it. Advancement opportunities/ development. Multiple projects you can move or grow within the company. Inbound calls - no outbound sales calls (which is good)

    Cons

Call center is a call center. On the phone all day. Sitting all day.
