    in Australia there was a great focus on cost-cutting at the cost of quality. Long hours with minimal reward. no focus on culture or work life balance.

    Pros: generally good culture, vis-a-vis American banks (from what I've heard anecdotally), good training.

    Cons

    Cons: seem to be losing market share, not a great sense of leadership in terms of the investment bank in Europe.
