everyone who had any knowledge or idea about the tools have left. The management seems to make decisions in panic. The product is not competitive on the market. The reps are unable to make the quota - but they are blamed for it.

Why do all of the positive reviews read like an HR employee wrote them? Hmm… It’s hard to write a review of this place without questioning your own sanity for working there as long as you did. Crownpeak has three product lines that are all equally uninspiring. Their DG product (through an acquisition) had promise but now it seems even that solution has been run into the ground due to lack of investment, and horrible handling of employees leading to turnover. The executive team manages through fear. They are secretive, and convinced that they don’t need to understand anything about why customers buy their products, so instead, they hand out impossible-to-meet sales and engineering targets, which lead to these goals being missed, and therefore lots of turnover and horrible employee morale. All you have to do to understand the state of this company is to look at the rate of employee turnover. They champion the motto of hiring “high performers, low earners” as if it’s a good thing; but, they don’t realize that they are essentially laughing in the face of those that work for them. As a result of the above, you are left with three types of employees who remain - those with families that can’t leave, those that can’t get other jobs elsewhere, and those at the very, very top.
