I worked at Crunch Fitness full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Being around great people, free gym membership, and work experience. Job paid the bills

    Cons

Expect to be overworked, underpaid, micromanaged, and stressed out. They couldn't care less about work life balance and overload you with work. The best employees don't stick around and for good reason. If you do decide to take a chance and work here, just know: there isn't a 401K, the health benefits are expensive and will eat your check, and you do not get paid out for vacation days (upon leaving). Make sure to...

    Advice to Management

Pay people what they are worth and treat them well. Show and prove that you actually care about your employees.

I have been working at Crunch Fitness full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Decent pay. Very rewarding job. You help others reach their fitness goals all while having fun! Programming is done by you so there is some creativity behind it. You make your own schedule. Gym has a ton of equipment to work with. People are friendly.

    Cons

Sales driven atmosphere. Manager is not around very much to help out. You have to be self motivated for this job! Do not apply if you can’t get your stuff done on your own. Capped pay at $30/hr. No more raises after that. 10% sales commission.

    Advice to Management

    Need more management.
