      Worst career experience to date!

      Pros

      The haircare products they produce are amazing and live up to their promise. The perfect Wash N Go. The COO is a dream to work with.

      Cons

      Vile and disrespectful CEO. The values and mutually respectful environment I believed I was walking into changed in less than 30 days. The CEO has no idea what she wants and lacks the ability to communicate. She will go days and refuse calls, texts and emails because she doesn't feel like speaking to you. Deadlines are missed due to her childlike behavior. I have never worked for someone so difficult. Working with her was like pulling teeth and walking on eggshells barefoot each day. I really wanted to stand by this company but the nitpicking was overwhelming. If decide to work here a suit of armour and a shield will be your uniform daily.

      Communication is a very serious problem within the company

      Pros

      The products are genuinely good quality, even if they weren't the best for my specific hair type. And they do care about their mission and goal which is incredibly important to me. Unfortunately, they just weren't near as invested in me or my success at the job as I thought they were. The ability to work from home and culture within my team was great. The work load for our team was also very light, perhaps too light.

      Cons

      Obviously, CS becomes extremely monotonous. During my interview it was expressed that I would get the option to work in my true area of interest at some point but that never happened and eventually the CEO altogether stopped replying to my emails about the subject and my interest in doing more within the company, it kind of stung.

As a growing company, we still have things to learn, and often that comes directly from our employees – past and present.       Waste of Time

      Pros

      It was nice to see an African American couple come up. Mostly remote so that's good as well.

      Cons

      Where do I start? Upper management is in shambles and thinks they know everything. They use their legal representation as HR. They are sneaky and underhanded. They try to fire then hire people which is never a good method for retention or trust. Bad benefits. No accountability. No praise, only constant criticism and negativity. Very toxic employment environment. Absolutely no room for growth. One person can be doing the job of at least five people then get reprimanded for not doing their main function properly.
