Pros
Zero! I would provide negative stars if that were possible. Even the city sucks, it doesn't even have a Red Box!!!
Cons
Every possible thing imaginable is wrong with this place. This is by far the most horrible place I have ever worked. I worked only long enough to keep my resume from looking bad and ran, ran as fast as I could. This place is well known for hiring slop, if they do get a good applicant they practically bribe you to come (like me). After you get their you get the sense something is wrong, after about 4 months you realize you made a terrible life altering decision to join a joke of a hospital. The CEO is inexperienced and green and she spends money on her own edification while balancing the books on the backs of employees pay raises and benefits. Over 30 families lost jobs because the new CEO and all of her interim friends needed high paying jobs. All the while the new CEO lied about having no money for pay raises she was granted a bonus from the Board of Directors (see public meeting minutes). How do you get a bonus when people have not gotten pay raises? In a community of 1200 30 people is a considerable number to lose their jobs while she gets a bonus. This place is horribly managed and don't let the new hospital routine persuade you. The hospital is over budget and a law suit is underway between the engineers and the Curry Board of Directors. Most of the staff are agency staff, most of the leaders are interim and the senior leadership is a CEO good-ole-boys club. If you like watching your career circle the drain then please get a job here. All of Oregon including State offices know this place is bad. Just call the State offices and ask for the inspection records, they are public. Also, be aware they are trying to re-brand themselves since their failed name is so well known. If they get a new name just make sure it is a partnership with a real hospital and not a new name on a broken product.
