I have been working at Cushman & Wakefield full-time

    Pros

    - Decent place to work if you have a good team - Social (pe-covid) - Nice office atmosphere (not forced to work in open plan desks always, sometimes can sit in secluded desks when you need to concentrate) - Nice projects / buildings to work on

    Cons

    - Grad Pay isn't great at all - Constant talk of fee earning (performance reviews can be dry) - High Pressure! Tight Deadlines! Late Nights!

    Pros

Big corporate company and so this leads to opportunity and learning

    Cons

Leadership follows the DTZ mentality/ and has lost the C&W partnership (growth mentality) They loose a lot of mid level associate's & senior surveyors.

I have been working at Cushman & Wakefield full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Exposure to good projects and clients. Graduate scheme works well. Largely very decent people but some questionable characters among senior members of staff. Good pension contribution. Good office location.

    Cons

Extensive labour turnover among junior staff. Private equity ownership. Terrible bonuses. Constant unnecessary corporate communication. Deluded senior staff. Bonuses and promotions are largely due to corporate politics. Incredibly top heavy - difficult to 'climb the ranks' with so many saturated Partners unlikely to move. Poor salary compared to competitors. Office specification is poor. Hot desking does not work. Senior staff have their favourites. Investment and agency teams are primarily a phallus measuring contest. HR are borderline useless. Determined to be branded as diverse, inclusive and 'woke', yet evidence of this is quickly falsified should you spend an hour on the office floor amongst largely privileged, white, middle aged and middle class men.
